    When Live Keno hours wind down, the action does not have to. EZ Keno kiosks allow players to continue gaming on site during after hours availability.

    Official Keno Rules

     

    General Rules

    • Must be 21 years of age or older to participate.
    • Each valid drawing consists of 20 balls drawn from a pool of 80 balls numbered 1 through 80.
    • Valid tickets may only be purchased through a Keno Kiosk or via a runner or writer if and when available. Tickets are non transferable.
    • Minimum bet $1
    • Wagers are not valid until a computer generated ticket is issued. This ticket is the only valid receipt.
    • Players are responsible for verifying ticket information before the game begins.

     

    Ticket Redemption

    • Redeem winning Keno tickets at the Keno POS when available or at a Keno Kiosk for a WINOUT voucher.
    • WINOUT vouchers may be redeemed at the Keno POS or Keno Kiosk for credit or a CASHOUT voucher.
    • CASHOUT vouchers may be redeemed at the Keno Kiosk, Ticket Redemption or Bill Breaker machines, or the Cashier’s Cage.

     

    Winning and Verification

    • All wins are subject to verification. Unverifiable wins are not eligible for prizes.
    • Tax identification number and valid government issued photo ID are required for prizes of $2,000 or more.
    • Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes. A W2 G will be issued for prizes of $2,000 and above.
    • Maximum aggregate payout to all winning players in a single Keno game is $50,000.
    • Winning tickets may not be altered, defaced, or mutilated.
    • All prizes are paid to the ticket bearer.

     

    Ticket Expiration

    • Winning tickets for 1 to 20 games must be redeemed within 7 days of the last ball draw.
    • Winning tickets for 21 to 999 games must be redeemed within 365 days of the last ball draw.
    • Keno Kiosk WINOUT vouchers expire 180 days from issuance.

     

    Additional Rules

    • Rio Hotel & Casino is not responsible for game interruptions.
    • Any game malfunction voids all plays and pays.
    • If a game is cancelled, all outstanding tickets will be reimbursed.
    • Progressives increase with each ticket purchased until won, at which point the meter resets.
    • By participating, players agree all interpretations and decisions by Rio Hotel & Casino are final.
